Temple square and Disney on ice

I finally got the pics downloaded from our weekend in Utah. So hear they are :)

This last weekend we went to Salt Lake and took the kiddo's to Temple Square. What a wonderful experience. We were able to see the movies on families and Derric leaned over to me and said "Mom, I love my family so much it makes me feel like I'm going to cry! I just feel so good inside." needless to say I was the one with the tears. I am so blessed to have such great kids. I loved the looks on their face when they saw the Christus. Michael got some beautiful pictures but they aren't downloaded yet. Despite being snowed and rained on it was a fantastic day. I love my Savior and am so thankful for all he did for me and my family so that we can be together forever!

After a quick lunch we headed over to see some Disney on Ice. The kids loved it! Especially Jazzy. We had our moneys worth out of her reactions to things. Before the show started Mikylee wanted to get something from the vendors. We said sure but I was totally disgusted by the prices so I backed out. She was very upset and started to be dramatic :) I just told her she would have to wait until her birthday and Mike and I both new once the show started she would forget all about the over priced toys and enjoy the show. BUT, the very old gentleman sitting behind us saw her dramatic attempt to get a light up toy (For 22 freaking dollars) and he took it upon himself to get one for her!! WHAT?!?!?!? WHO DOES THAT!!! 22 DOLLARS for this, we kept telling him this isn't necessary, can we pay you? Thank you sir! He was very kind and the kids did enjoy the toy but this learning moment that she can't always get what she want especially when she cries, slightly backfired :( Oh Well, what do you do? We had a great time. After the show we were so lucky to hook up the one of my most favorite people in the world!! Genevieve Ruhr, we had a fun time catching up on things in the parking lot of Applebee's. But she had to go hook up with her hot little man:) So we took off and went to visit and old Mission buddy of Michael's. It was really fun. Their kids are very similar ages to ours and I think they had a lot of fun. Summer was so sweet and fun. It was fun to see how much we had in common. I just hope we didn't overstay our welcome! We didn't get home until almost 1 am. Needless to say we were very late for church the next day :) Some just thought we forgot to change our clocks! It was just a fun fun weekend! Much needed getaway!
