Summer Updates and Accomplishments

Hey everyone, it has been months since I blogged last and I thought I would update you on our life. We spent the entire summer creating a dance studio in our old garage. We are so grateful for all who came to help and I'm so grateful for their love and support. Especially for my parents who had some awesome ideas and the studio turned out AWESOME! I will post pics soon. I have been teaching class for 2 weeks now and love it. I have 25 students and they are adorable!! Michael and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary and I ended up working at the hospital for it (that's ok because we leave this Saturday for FIJI!!!!!) Derric started school and is now a 1st grader, and he is doing excelent in reading, spelling, and math. It is so fun to watch them learn and accomplish new things. We celebrated his 7th birthday on the 10th with a birthday party at the ISU bowling alley with lots of friends, pizza, cake, and music :) Great times. He is a big helper at home. He loves to help and take care of his sisters, he is an awesome big brother. Derric is smart, fun, inventive, imaginative, and very concerend about those around him. I love my Boy! Mikylee started preschool and she is loving it. She is a very independent child and tells me she can't wait to be as big as Derric ( I can wait!) She is spunky and fun and such a sweetheart. She told me the other day she wanted to grow up to be just like her favorite girl and when I asked her who her favorite girl was she looked and me and said, " it's you silly!" I love her! Jazlyn has stated her place in our home and in our hearts. She is a "firey" little thing. When she makes up her mind it is set and she talks in sentences now and I could listen to her talk all day. I also could watch her run all day she has the cutest little wiggle that goes with her run:) I am enjoyed the few hours i get with just her a few times a week. Michael is very busy at work and I have been working a lot at the hospital, but the Lord has been very kind and generous to us through our hard times and I am so grateful to my Savior for all that I have been blessed with. Well that is our life this summer in a very small nutshell. I hope to get some pics of what we did posted soon.
